This vintage styled shoot is so romantic we can’t even handle it. We’re loving the deep purples mixed with the wood and bronze decor. The bridal accessories are gorgeous, and the cascading floral arrangements, chandeliers and candles, and vintage settee add to the romantic atmosphere. Not a detail was missed by event designer, Something Events, and the talented team behind this shoot, beautifully captured by Gina & Ryan Photography.

From the Photographer: We recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully styled vintage inspired outdoor wedding shoot by Something Events at the O’Neill Regional Park in Orange County. The theme was set as “vintage elegant picnic”; plums, chandeliers, settee’s, chalkboards, croquet, reclaimed props, hand-crafted touches, and good company…. We were in love with this shoot before it ever even happened!
The whimsical setting, along with the stylish details & props from reclaimed and vintage furnishings from Circa Vintage Rentals, provided for the perfectly warm and classy setting. The beautiful floral design (Little Hill Floral Design), stationery (Behold Designz & Twigs Print Studio), and baked goods (Home, A Cottage Food Bakery) tied everything together perfectly.
Our models, the lovely Rachael & Jeff, rocked stunning attire by Ruche (bridal) and The Grunion Run (groom). They were beautifully styled by hair stylist Sabrina Snowden and make-up artist Valerie St. George. The natural charisma of our models extended character and warmth to the atmosphere on their mock-up wedding day (no, these two aren’t really getting married (in fact, had never met prior to the shoot!), but, as we all can see, the connection and chemistry was totally evident!).
We loved working with all of the [seriously talented] vendors involved in the shoot, and can’t thank everyone enough for making this all happen! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Today’s Art Nouveau inspired shoot transports us back to the early 20th Century where every day felt like a walk through a romantic Parisian film. (At least that’s how we like to imagine that era : ) Every detail of this styled wedding makes our heart skip a beat from the flowing headdress and vintage accents, to the inviting table settings and, oh my, that cake! *Swoon

Washington D.C. residents, Annie and Shant, decided to head south for their wedding in search of an affordable venue with a fun and laid-back atmosphere that could fit their large family and group of friends. Annie let the romantic feel of the Houmas House Plantation and Gardens set the tone for their wedding, using lace and soft colors that compliment the setting. Read on for their sweet story, and find out just how many pastors it took to marry these college friends in what Annie describes as “truly a friends and family affair.”

We seriously can’t take this silly dreamy look off our faces after looking through Irene and Aaron’s breathtaking wedding. The California sunshine, purple hues, and Malibu ranch setting are just too perfect for words. We’re not the only ones that want to eat up every detail of this wedding— while the adorable couple was getting their portraits taken in the field, one of the horses started munching on Irene’s dress!
