Did you know that Revolve, our go-to online shop for all things fashion from jeans to dresses, has a Wedding section? I actually stalked this site for bridesmaid dresses and heels for my own wedding. The shop is broken down into sections for the bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, shoes, lingerie, gifts, and wedding guests, which makes it so much easier to search and navigate items that are suitable for weddings. These two dresses are our current faves.

Is there such a thing as too much gold? Not in our book! It gives the look an instant touch of luxury and when mixed with pink hues, it completes the romantic vibe. Kudos to the entire team behind this gorgeous shoot!

From Dianna at Truly Yours Planning: The inspiration for this shoot came from the planner Diana Pires of Truly Yours Planning whose current obsession includes glitter, gold, and a love struck crush of Spring’s natural beauty. The creator of the beautiful Wedding Cake & Sweet Table Cakealicious by Reem, could not resist adding 24 Karat edible gold glitter to the piece of resistance, the decadent sweets. The centrepieces were dipped in satin gold dye, decorated with
fresh peonies and ralanculuas, complementing our Springs “Natural Beauty”
style shoot oh so perfectly.
Our photographer was Julia Park – her natural, candid, editorial style was
ideal for this shoot. Romance, love, laughter and simplicity was the theme
for this shoot. Diana wanted a full arrangement of flowers that looked
like they were just pick up in the gardens which Fresh Florals created
amazingly. The bouquet was simply to die for, no other words could
describe how beautiful it truly was.
Graydon Hall Manor was our host. It’s terraces, garden walls, and
auxiliary building as well as the courtyard fountain was the perfect
setting for our Spring Natural Beauty Style Shoot. The details that made this shoot extra special included, the stationary imprinted in gold created by Giulias Invitations along with her chained Seating Chart, the gold flatware and glassware supplied by Chairman Mills along with the Lemon Sorbet Linen that brought the entire table escape together, and you cannot forget the Vintage White Couch set in the mild of the high gardens who captured the Natural Beauty of the Models Sadaf & Barrett impeccably.
The Makeup was flawlessly done by Carla Marques and Hair by Patricia
Zucco, wedding dresses by Kenneth Winston & Pronovias featured at Divas
Boutique, Hair Accessories including a beautiful Ivory Lace Cape designed
by Blair Nadeau Millinery and Men’s sleek attire by Got Style.
Katherine and Andrew met at school and wed at the Royal Conservatory of Music where Katherine had played recitals as a child. Their wedding was decorated with cheery pops of yellow from flowers to lemons, cute vintage elements, and escort cards made to look like piano keys. The bride and groom, with the help of family and friends, added so many handmade details to their wedding, and the result is simply perfect!

From their Photographer: Katherine and Andrew are a ton of fun. They met in University while studying law out East. They got married in beautiful downtown Toronto. Their ceremony was held at Trinity College Chapel at the University of Toronto, followed by cocktails and reception at The Royal Conservatory of Music. A most rad venue. The bride played many piano recitals there as a child. And the couple are both big fans of music.
The decor was modern, with hints of vintage and whimsical. Adore all those pops of yellow. Lemons played a big role in the decor – Kat & Andrew enlisted the help of their wedding party to scour Toronto for as many lemons as they could muster. They joked during the speeches that there are literally no lemons left in the city that weekend. Guests sat at long banquet tables, encouraging conversation and mingling while they feasted on dinner. Lisa from Sweet Woodruff did a great job marrying all the decor elements with an eclectic mix of floral arrangements made of ranunculus, anemones and dahlias, dispersed among mercury candles, bell jars and accents of lemons. Wine crates and even more lemons decorated the reception tables, while guests browsed a display of framed old family photos nearby. Guests were asked to sign the back of postcards – that were designed by the couple. Palettera created beautiful custom name cards and the lovely invitations. Guests found their seats by the super creative piano-key inspired escort card display (also by Palettera) hung on an old window frame. We loved this – such a nice touch since it the reception took place at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Rebecca Chan and her team helped bring all the vision and details that the couple had been working on to life. The reception set up was picture perfect.
The amount of DIY was astounding! With the help of friends and family – these guys got super crafty and it looked fab. The groom’s parents helped create the marquee lights. Which looked gorgeous all lit up during the reception. The rustic table numbers were constructed by the groom’s family. The Mr. & Mrs signs, the chalk board signage, the table decor – all done with love and smiles from the couple and their friends and family.
